Welcome to the Delaware Valley Chapter of the AAPM

One of the primary goals of AAPM is the identification and implementation of improvements in patient safety for the medical use of radiation in imaging and radiation therapy.

The Delaware Valley Chapter of AAPM shares the same mission and serves as a bridge between local chapter members and AAPM, through local symposiums and other communication activities.

Announcing winners of the 2026 DVC Young Investigators Symposium!

Congratulations to the winners of the 2026 Young Investigators Symposium, which was held on February 27th, 2026 . The event was held virtually via Zoom. In first place was Andrew Friberg , from the University of Pennsylvania. The topic of his talk was on the simulation of dose-rate dependent mechanisms of lymphocyte damage in proton FLASH radiotherapy. There was a tie for second place between Muskan Lather from the University of Pennsylvania and Mohamed Yousuf from Thomas J
